Simone Rocha was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1986. In 2008 she graduated with a BA in Fashion from The National College of Art and Design in Dublin continuing in 2010 to graduate from the acclaimed Fashion MA at Central Saint Martin’s College, London. Simone debuted at London Fashion Week, showing her S/S11 and A/W11 collections on schedule with Fashion East.

Her collections have gained her some of the most prestigious stockists in the world including Dover Street Market in London, New York and Ginza, Colette in Paris, Ikram in Chicago and 10 Corso Como in Milan, Seoul and Shanghai.

For S/S13 she designed a shop-in-shop in Dover Street Market London as well as creating an installation for their Spring re-opening window. Simone travelled to Tokyo to create an installation in the Dover Street Market in Ginza to mark their one-year anniversary. She has also had window installations for Colette and Le Bon Marche during Paris Fashion Week.

Simone showed her A/W13 collection at the Topshop Space in the Tanks of the Tate Modern. Simone received the New Designer of the Year Award at The Elle Style Awards 2013.

Simone received the Emerging Womenswear Designer award at the British Fashion Awards 2013 as well as receiving the Best Future Fashion Wallpaper* Award 2013. In December 2013 she opened a space within Dover Street Market in New York. This is her largest shop-in-shop in the world, opening with an exclusive collection and hand-made sculpture.

For A/W14 she showed in the Tate Modern in the Turbine Hall to critical acclaim. In early 2014 Simone was chosen as a finalist in the inaugural LVMH prize as well as announcing an upcoming collaboration with US based denim label J Brand.
